Batman R.I.P.

Main article: Batman R.I.P.

The Black Glove is a criminal organization led by Doctor Simon Hurt. Although consisting mostly of newer or more obscure villains, they believe they can accomplish what no other villain or group of villains before them has managed to, the utter ruination of the Batman. Doctor Hurt believes the complete destruction of a pure and noble soul to be a form of artwork, and hopes with Batman to produce his masterpiece; they have also attempted to recruit well known Batman nemesis, the Joker into their ranks.
