History

Blackhawk Express was an elite courier service for the international community during the 1950s. Owned and operated by former World War II fighter pilot Weng Chan, Blackhawk Express evolved from the former charter service of Janos Prohaska known as, Blackhawk Airways. Blackhawk Express dealt exclusively with cargo, and offered unlimited air delivery on an as-needed schedule. The company's corporate office was based out of New York City with affiliate offices in Westchester County and White Plains, New York. It is largely believed that other surviving members of the original Blackhawk Squadron assisted Weng Chan with running the business, but details on this matter are to date unconfirmed.
