Synopsis for "Forbidden Fruit"
Oracle puts the Karate Kid through a battery of tests to determine the nature of the illness that is slowly killing him. Confounded at every turn, Oracle frustratingly tells him that she could find no information, and theorizes that he may have fallen prey to either an alien virus, or something indigenous to his native time era. She tells him to seek out an elusive scientist named Elias Orr, a purported genius in the field of bio-engineering. Oracle wishes him good luck, and Karate Kid and Una leave.
Outside Gotham City, Zatanna brings Mary Marvel to her family estate, Shadowcrest. She offers to help her learn more about her mystical nature and the sudden change in her powers. Zatanna introduces Mary to Shadowcrest's house staff, who are actually just manifestations of Zatanna's own power.
In the Nanoverse, the Atom, Bob the Monitor, Donna Troy and Jason Todd come upon a coven of wizards. A diminutive sorcerer addresses her entourage as the Sacred Wizards of the Arionite Temple. She tells Donna and the others that she had recently seen Ray Palmer, but that he was no longer here. She has no further information to offer them.
Back on Earth, the Pied Piper and the Trickster seek refuge in a darkened greenhouse. Having not eaten for several days, they ravenously avail themselves to the various fruits and greens growing inside. Moments later, they realize the folly of their ways as they have trespassed upon the home of Poison Ivy. Ivy awakens, hisses the words "Deeaaaaaaaaad meat." and ensnares the two former Rogues with an army of vines.
At the Athenian Shelter for Women, Holly Robinson and Harleen Quinzel continue to bond. Harley asks Holly about her meeting with Athena, and Holly tells her that it worked out well. Harley is convinced that the two are going to become great friends.
At the Daily Planet, Jimmy Olsen continues to ponder his recent brush with super-powers. While tinkering with his signal watch, Jimmy suddenly becomes aware of something that he knows he should not have any knowledge of. Clark walks into the room, and Jimmy rushes to him. He asks him to help him apply for membership in the Justice League. Clark stammers for a moment until Jimmy pulls his shirt open declaring, "I know you're Superman".

Synopsis for "The Origin of Poison Ivy"
Scientist Professor Jason Woodrue used Pamela Isley as test subject to create a human/plant hybrid. The experiment worked only too well however, and Isley emerged as Poison Ivy. With the ability to produce pheromone pollen and control plant life, she became a recurring foe of the Batman - the one male adversary that she could not seduce. Through the course of her career, Ivy has developed a close friendship with former Joker sidekick Harley Quinn. The most trying moments of Ivy's life was during the Harvest, when a hybrid creature germinated from her victims. Invariably, her criminal lifestyle always lands her back at secure room at Arkham Asylum.
