Synopsis for "Changes of Address"
Mary Marvel suddenly appears inside the Rock of Eternity. She turns and sees Billy Batson, who is now an adult and garbed in raiment of the wizard Shazam. Billy explains that he is "one" with the Rock of Eternity now. Mary tells him that she has been looking everywhere for Freddy and he, but has been unable to find either of them. Billy chastises Mary for accepting power from Black Adam. Mary retorts, citing that Billy and Freddy's absence left her little recourse. She posits that perhaps Destiny willed it so that Mary would inherit Black Adam's power.
In Washington, D.C., Forerunner hears a voice from behind her and spins around, hurling her mini-throwing spikes. The spikes bounce harmlessly off of the armor of Monarch. Monarch approaches, not as an enemy, but as a friend. He tells her that he knows of her separation from the Monitors and offers her the chance for redemption. Forerunner decides to hear him out.
In Metropolis, Jimmy Olsen walks down the streets of Suicide Slum. He is still confused as to his recent spontaneous displays of power. He comes upon a group of street thugs who begin hassling him. Jimmy fights back, but they overwhelm him and begin pounding on him. Jimmy suddenly starts firing needles from his body that drives the thugs away. As soon as the danger is averted, the power disappears.
Elswhere in the city, Holly Robinson meets a woman calling herself Athena. She is dressed in the robes of the Gods of Mount Olympus and invites her to stay at an elite halfway house. The interior of the building resembles the inside of a Greek temple.
In Keystone City, the Trickster and the Pied Piper have cut ties with the Rogues and are on the run. The Rogues have now become Public Enemy #1 in light of their recent murder of Bart Allen – the Flash. Piper and Trickster, had little involvement in the Flash’s death, but they are smart enough to realize that they must go deep underground to avoid prosecution.

Synopsis for "History of the Multiverse (Part VI of XII)"
The Monitors review the events that led to the collapse of the Multiverse in the event colloquially known as the Crisis on Infinite Earths. During this crisis, a being known as the Anti-Monitor attempted to destroy all of reality and remake it in his own image. Heroes from various parallel realities joined together to stop him. The event resulted in the deaths of several prominent heroes including the Flash (Barry Allen) and the Earth-One Supergirl. Ultimately the Anti-Monitor was defeated and the surviving parallel worlds were folded into one composite reality.
