Trivia

• A Mantis action figure was released in 1985 as part of DC's "Super-Powers" collection.

• In the Justice League Unlimited animated series, during the Civil War on Apokolips between Granny Goodness and Virman Vunderbarr, Mantis invaded Earth to claim it as his own domain. Superman and Captain Atom fought him and were able to send him back to Apokolips with Superman destroying his Boom Tube. He was later seen in "Alive!", along with Kanto serving as lieutenants for Vunderbar against Goodness and the Female Furies, when Darkseid returns, putting an end to Vunderbar and Goodness' war.
