Sportsmaster Clones

After the Council lost control of the Manhunter, organizational leader Doctor Anatol Mykros used his expertise in cloning technology to clone the Sportsmaster. The Clones served as the Council's elite assassins for many years. In recent years they came into conflict with the Justice Society of America. They initially squared off against Queen Hippolyta during her tenure as Wonder Woman as well as her colleague Black Canary.[1] They later faced a larger contingent when the JSA raided a Council-operated missile silo. Black Canary, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl and the Star-Spangled Kid, accompanied by Mykros' daughter Nemesis, destroyed the Sportsmaster cloning banks and disarmed the Council's nuclear warhead.[2]
